Detox Soup

IMG 6148If you are one of the folk who cannot envisage a January ‘detox’ then don’t do it. A higher percentage of those attempting drastic weight loss and fitness fads give up within a week anyhow. But if you fancy a go at some simple soup making, you will be delighted to learn this is a great way to boost your immunity during the winter months, and still enjoy some very tasty healthy suppers.

I love this soup, created by Sophie Dahl. Usually I add double the cumin stated for a little more kick, sometimes some dried chili flakes and if I’ve no spinach or coriander the result is still totally delicious. Adapt the amount of lemon juice too to suit your taste buds….
